Are you falling in love with your new habits of healthy eating and now find yourself dreading the fall festivities? Holidays are approaching and its the time of the year to get creative and fall in love with new habits. Creating recipes to entise the fall flavors and not fall back into those old ways leaving us feeling full of distress, regret and misery over feeding our weakness. But, how? Lets’ share, show and connect some healthy tips to help you through these holidays and not be one of the fallen. Rather, a real hero to yourself choosing to eat healthy all year round.

Ingredients
  • Pumpkin Energy Bites
  • (recreated recipe incorporating doTERRA essential oils)
  • Ingredients:
  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
  • ½ c. pecans
  • (we are nut free (due to tree nut allergies) so we substitute with flax or chia seed)
  • ⅓ c. pumpkin puree
  • ¼ c. unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 drop doterra cinnamon essential oil
  • 1 drop doterra clove essential oil
  • pinch of salt
Instructions

  2. Place the dates into a small bowl and cover with water. Let soak for 10 minutes, then drain.
  3. Place the pecans into a food processor and pulse until finely ground. Add in the rest of the ingredients, including the soaked dates. Pulse until combined. Adjust the spices to taste. Place into the refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
  4. Use your hands to form the dough into small balls. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
